Tooele Chemical Agent Disposal Facility (TOCDF)

Mission:

The mission of TOCDF is to destroy the aging chemical munitions stockpile in storage at the Deseret Chemical Depot. The Chemical Demilitarization Section of the Utah Division of Solid and Hazardous Waste regulates this process through a RCRA Part B Permit. The Chemical Demilitarization Section also has an oversite program to ensure compliance with all permit conditions.

Location:

The TOCDF is located approximately 12 miles south of Tooele, Utah in Tooele county.

Control:

TOCDF is controlled by the U.S. Army Chemical Materials Agency and is operated under contract by EG&G Defense Materials Inc.
